LIFE POTENTIAL ON PLUTO
Extreme Environment
Pluto is far outside the Sun's habitable zone. However, internal heat might allow for unique subsurface possibilities.
Surface life is impossible.

EXTERNAL BARYCENTER
Because Charon is half the size of Pluto, their balance point (barycenter) is about **960 km above Pluto's surface**. They orbit each other around this "empty" spot.
BARYCENTER DATAMUTUAL TIDAL LOCK
Both bodies are face-locked. On Pluto, Charon never rises or sets; it hangs in the same spot in the sky, while the same face of Pluto is always visible from Charon.
ROTATION SPECSSATELLITE SWARM
Beyond the binary core, four smaller moons (**Styx, Nix, Kerberos, and Hydra**) orbit the common center, wobbling chaotically due to the dual gravitational pull.
